GH Program Force

Another little nifty  Grasshopper definition for data visualization. Initially, inspiration got kicked off by this, this and that. Program properties & relations are streamed via an open Excel spreadsheet and illustrated around a referenced point in Rhino. A spring system built with Kangaroo Physics is doing the job to translate relational weights into attraction forces which can be tweaked to emulate different (material) behavior. Additionally, a collision detection and optional boundary feature make sure your diagram contains some real life constrains. Works in 3D too!

      Yes Mohamed it is something with….well (pseudo) physics. Call them forces, springs or verlet integration – there can actually steam a lot of math behind. However, my example shows a very basic study. If you want to elaborate on this more check this post by Andrew Heumann.
